Almost everybody knows the film "Pretty Woman" and I have seen it three times and shed a tear each time.As an artist who photographs I have entered the universe of "Pretty Woman" and taken pictures as I normally do on the street or other sites. The stills are taken chronologically from the film and small sequences of sound from the film have been added.

 

The narrative of the film has disappeared and new layers are discovered in the imagery. New narratives are then dependent on the viewer. At the same time the work must be viewed like any other photographic art work in its own right.

 

Can be viewed on monitor or projection.
