Short sequences from contemporary Hollywood films are divided by long 20 seconds black sequences. Each film clip contains some of the methods used in film to create tension or expectations.
The long black sequences throw the viewers off the illusionary screen back on themselves and makes them aware of their own presence since the black screen works as a mirror.
The video is to be viewed on a TV monitor with the room lights on.
