Kenneth
A. Balfelt, founder of ARD (Art Research Dialogue) and organizer
of the project, has worked 11 years in sales and marketing planning
and has a degree in marketing and a BA Fine Art (Goldsmiths College).
He has experience in organizing events, purchasing, negotiating,
economy, co-ordinating, etc. As an artist he has had more than 25
shows in Europe.
Amy
Plant has an MA in Art Administration and Curating from Goldsmiths
College and has planned and implemented a large number of small
and big public art projects. She has been employed as a public art
consultant for a council housing project and now runs a public art
project that lends residents in a local area of London a sound equipt
vehicles for public events, concerts or parties.
Stefan
Saffer (born in Germany and lives and works in London/Berlin),
MA Fine Art from Goldsmiths, have worked with making works in public
spaces and "information exchange offices" in collaboration with
local residents and Kathrin Böhm. Have done several social projects
which were addressed to a non-art audience.
Jeppe
Hein (born in Denmark and studies art in Germany) is a skilled
carpenter who as an artist works with his skills and investigates
the borders between functionality and arts traditional non-functionality.
A member of the artist driven mobile exhibition space OTTO. Have
recently been commissioned to make a bar for a gallery, art fair
stands and video viewing facilities.
Jeremy
Deller (lives and works in London) is in an internationally
acclaimed British artist. He is greatly involved in cross-disciplinary
projects that engages different groups of people, e.g. his Acid
House playing brass band. At recently showed in the Democracy Show
at the Royal College and will show at Tate Liverpool in July 2000.
Hester
Oerlemans (lives and works in Berlin) has recently finished
a artist in residency at Künstlerhaus Bethanien and has done e.g.
the public art projects Bar Slecht, Spooky Zoo, Jukebox and Girl
on Swing and has a book about her work coming out February 2001.
She cooperate with Wilma Sommers (NL).
